We recently had the opportunity to talk with Tony Stubblebine of Lift. Lift is a web and smartphone app that helps people form habits, reach goals and get community support. Tony tells us more about the history of Lift, how Tim Ferriss has helped and what the future holds.
Lift works in a similar way to the goal-reaching technique some call ‘don’t break the chain’. That age-old method has you putting a cross through a calendar date every day that you achieve something important to you, and all you have to do is not break the chain of crosses on the calendar.
Lift say that “if you can do something once, we can help you do it three times. If you can do it seven times, we can help you turn it into a habit.”
This is reinforced by community support and a simple interface that makes ‘checking in’ to your goals easy. We talked with Tony for a few moments to find out more about his app…
